Jin Namgoong was born in South Korea 1994. She is an artist who uses metal as a language to navigate her inner world. Her practice investigates the fragility, resilience, and transformation of personal emotions, translating them into sculptural forms. She received her BFA in Sculpture(Metals) from Arizona State University and her MFA in Metals from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2019. Jin currently lives and works in New York.
